What is kept, and what never is.
The instrument only works if nobody is turned into a sensor for management. That is a design constraint here, not a policy statement.
The three moments on this site
When you place the three moments, what is stored is: the card, the column you chose, the broad position you selected (or nothing, if you skipped it), a random string created in your browser for that visit, and a timestamp. If you answer the two questions at the end, those answers are stored the same way.
Not stored: your name, your email, your employer, your IP address, your browser, any cookie or identifier that follows you anywhere else.
The random string exists so one visit counts once per card and so you can change your mind. It is not linked to you and cannot be traced back to you.
Counts are only ever shown in aggregate, by position, and only once enough people have placed the same moment. Nothing you place is shown to anyone as yours.
This is not research: it is whoever has passed through this page, alone. Those counts are never mixed with data from real team sessions.
If you ask for the printed cards
Your email is stored only if you type it in, in its own table, never joined to what you placed. It is used to send you the cards and to reply to you, and for nothing else. Ask and it is deleted.
If you share an experience
The form at the end of the argument stores four things: the words you write, and the three options you chose from the lists — your position in the work, your industry, and where your team is with AI. Nothing else.
Not stored: your name, your email, your employer, your IP address, any identifier.
Your words may be quoted anonymously in altraparte’s research and writing, which is what the consent box asks. Because nothing identifies you, an account cannot be traced back and removed individually — that is the trade-off for not identifying you in the first place.
Team sessions
- Private first. Each placement belongs to the person who made it. Nothing is visible to anyone while they are placing.
- By role, never by person. Results are shown only where three or more people share a role. Below that, answers fold into the totals.
- No cross-tabulation. Function and seniority and market are never combined, because together they identify one person.
- Free text is never shown by role. Someone’s own words plus their function is a name.
- Contracted in advance. Who takes part, what is kept, who sees what and what happens to the data at the end are agreed with your team before anything runs.
- No individual results, ever. If a leader asks for one person’s placements, the answer is no — and the instrument depends on that being true.
Analytics
This site uses privacy-friendly, cookie-free analytics: page counts, no personal data, no cross-site tracking, no advertising.
The call and email
Booking a call goes through Calendly, which handles the details you give it under its own terms. Anything you write to me stays in my mailbox and is not added to anything else.
Your rights, and how to use them
You can ask what is held about you, ask for it to be deleted, or ask a question about any of this, at bianca@altraparte.io. Placements on this site are anonymous, so they cannot be found and removed individually — that is the trade-off for not identifying you in the first place.
The data controller is Bianca Indipendente, altraparte, London, United Kingdom.
